| Young Coastal Empire Weightlifters to Compete in National Junior Championships |

SAVANNAH –
Coastal Empire
Weightlifters, Erica Hall, Alice Kohler and Tayler Jakubsen have qualified and will
be competing at the 2010 National Junior Championships in Rochester, Minnesota
on February 26th This
competition is a forum for junior athletes ages 20 and under.
Hall, age
14, attends Savannah Christian, and will lift in the 48kg division. Jakubsen, age 14, attends Benedictine, and will
lift in the men’s 85kg division. Alice Kohler, a sophomore at Georgia Southern
University, will be lifting in her last Jr. National event, as she will be
moving into the next age division in 2011. Hall and Jakubsen will be among
the youngest competitors at this sporting event.
The National
Juniors is a primary qualifier for the 2010 17 & Under Pan Am Youth Championships April 20-25
to be held in Peru. The Coastal
Empire Weightlifting coaches are Kerri Goodrich and Don McCauley
