Jacksonville, FL - Coaches Kerri Goodrich and Don McCauley were honored by Joe Dube with the Joe Dube Outstanding Coach Award at the 2008 Joe Dube Classic held in Jacksonville on October 11th.
Joe Dube personally awarded this honor to Goodrich and McDauley for their commitment to the sport of weightlifting and for the development of the youth in their community.
Joe Dube (born February 15, 1944 in Altha, Florida) is an American weightlifter and Olympic medalist. He received a bronze medal at the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City. He is the last male American weightlifter to win the World Championships in Olympic Weightlifting, accomplishing this feat at the World Championships in 1969 in Warsaw, Poland. |
